why you want to spend time, developing and starting new story if your own story in abandoned state now?
at least chapter

same question could be for you. why did you release so many abandoned stories? for me at least, it's better to be working in 2 different things so that my mind doesn't become bored/stuck with only one setting.

I have a little theory-shmeory.

Ian had been meddling with the shadows before the events of the story. He discovered that, when you inhale the dark fog, you absorb some of it, which gives you the Shadow Sight, but eventually leads to possession. That's why he was supposed to be worried about this ability of his. He killed Simon and Irina because he knew something worse than death would happen to them. He probably lost all recollections of that, because in the beginning he's all innocent and unsuspecting. (Luke might be from the forgotten part of Ian's life).

Apparently, the shadows have an efficient way of disposing of human bodies, since no corpses has been found. I'd say they enter via the lungs and gradually decompose and substitute the flesh. Only, in the case of Ian, Luke, and "M" they do that at a much slower rate. The meeting of Ian and Luke for some reason purged the shadows from their bodies, and in the latest sequence they can't see in the dark.

It all looks so stupid when written down, but anyway.

(not 2005-2007's Mateusz, because at that time he gave people endless amounts of hints/clues and "spoiled" extended Submachine universe before Sub4 release)

btw, how it feels? When you have your own story and its mysteries, and now other people make theories about YOUR universe? :3 How do you feel? Do you have a will to explain everything right now? XD

I have many things drawn that I want to show or explain, but I have to refrain. If it wasn't for the sake of the story I would've already posted the svg file with everything, lol
