Re: Nuclear Testing Grounds
Sub5's note system was nice, but that was the only game in the series in which the we took our own notes in contrast to collecting them. Thus, that system can't be used in the other games.
Balance is imperative; without it, total collapse and destruction is imminent.
Re: Nuclear Testing Grounds
Wow, with some nice animation where pages fly from the item list to screen and then lining up one by one it would look so cool.WorldisQuiet5256 wrote:Hey Bloodhit.
If you want to know what the page look like?
It was a journal system without a book.
It was an idea to revolutionizes the page system for the Submachine.
It was like the Navigator program, when you play Submachine 9, and click on the Navigator. It would cover the whole screen while still having the background.
Its main menu would look kinda like this:

Re: Nuclear Testing Grounds
Since my idea was lost in the Pastel Forum, I put it where it belongs.
My thought for this Note system in SNEE was you have a book, like the one in the image above here, where the book is closed when you don't have your mouse cursor over it, and when you do, it opens up and has two sides.
One where (If you want to Mateusz) collect notes only found in SNEE. And the other side where you create your own notes, like the system in Submachine 4.
It makes it a bit easier than the note system in Sub 4, when your more or less wasting time trying to find the note or section with the custom notes system under a index clicking system.
And...if you have the notes to collect on the right side of the open book, you just click on it, and bring up that note/drawing browsing system from Submachine 8, the plan.
I know this would work, cause I notice when you put your mouse cursor over an item in your inventory, it moves. But when you pull it away without clicking on it, that item moves back into its original position.WorldisQuiet5256 wrote:
If there is going to be a note system in SNEE, let me at least give my own opinion on how it should be.
First, it has to be a book, not a notepad.
For it needs two spaces, one for us to write our notes in, and one for the important notes for us to collect in SNEE, which are also Quote in the Submachine Wiki.
Then just have the pencil inside at the middle.

Re: Nuclear Testing Grounds
I like it, but there aren't any collectable notes right now... (unless you mean the theories).

Greetings lone traveller.
I welcome you and congratulate you on getting here, as your virtues that lead you are one of three:
- luck - if you just got here by accident from unrelated location of the net;
- patience - if you got here through systematic blind-jumping through subsequent portal combinations;
- intelligence - as your journey was a long and fruitful with solving the clues that finally led you here.
You are indeed worthy of getting inside this sanctuary.
Unfortunately I know that this sacred walls will be soon shattered by murtaugh who is already coming here. You cannot stay. But you should prevail. You should return.
Please wait patiently as Submachine 7: The Core is slowly floating towards you from other dimension of the mind.

Suicide Note (mnt)
I've heard stories.
Well, not actually heard. I just read them on pieces of paper. I read that there were exploration teams. For the love of god, did he really form teams? what happened to those men and women? where their shattered bones lie right now?
I know that everywhere I look I'm probably looking at bones. The subnet is everywhere. How many people had to die for him to gather the information he so dearly needed?
Jesus.
I never joined any exploration team. I never saw anybody. I'm not much of an explorer. If you tell me to do something - I will. But I see no point in exploring the infinity. Maybe that's why he chose me for the defsys mission. Maybe that's the reason I'm standing on this ledge right now.
When I look around I see submachine.
When I look down I see nothing.
I want to be there.
Watcher note

“Don't worry. He sees you. That's all you need to know.”
“I don't understand.”
“You don't have to. Just accept it."

Nah, they don't need to be taken.
Not in SNEE.

Re: Nuclear Testing Grounds
I agree, there's not really any plot, just scattered bits here and there.
