So I downloaded SCP-245-1. I was really wondering what was up with it...

I tried it out last night as well.
My first 'rpg maker game' in fact.
Which brings me to my question: "How do I 'use' an item. Or how do I give someone an item?"

From what I see, this game is as meta for a SCP document as for a RPG Maker game, so I think things don't work as much as a normal RPG Maker game does. According to the author, they're 4 endings.

I just found something worrying in the Foundation's database: SCP-920-EX

TL;DR: It's a printer that takes over other devices and impersonate a corporation's superiors.

Here is the worrying part. It was deemed to be a normal printer to be used by the Foundation. By a superior. I don't know, exactly as the printer impersonating as someone would do?!

And here is my theory. It's agenda was unknown. What if, this printer is the source of the leak of foundation's information? What is it's agenda is the creation and maintenance of the SCP wiki?!

Also, in 24 hours SCP-2798 will stop working and SCP-001 will breach containment...

Bookmarked the page.

By the way, I got one of my friends interested in SCPs lately. She's been having fun reading them!

SCP-2798 has stopped working!!

When the countdown timer reached zero, the author started the release of his SCP-001 proposal. He broke into a series of different stories/documents, and has been releasing them periodically for the last week.

http://www.scp-wiki.net/kalinins-proposal

He has not yet added it to the official SCP-001 page, because that would require giving a name to the proposal and so far, he has not revealed exactly what his SCP-001 is, only hinting at it through the stories and documents.
