So Neil Peart of Rush died a few days ago. He was my drumming inspiration, and I've been playing the drums as a hobby for 15+ years due to people like him. Got to see him and the band 3 times live. He had a great career and a full life and it's really awesome how he and Rush managed to stick together for 40+ years without losing any band members or going through any big breakups. They closed out their career a few years back, and I'm so thankful that it ended on a good note. Thank you Neil!

Yes I have and I love every single bit of it. It's beautiful and transcendent. Nostalgia for a time that isn't really there. The problem with Vaporwave is that it is not a gold genre of music and 10 track full quality records are still missing. More than enough singles but it does not have the powerful records it needs. imo

What do you mean by powerful records? Something that will make it more popular in the mainstream world?
I dont think thats ever really going to happen.

No just there are not many musicians in vaporwave who can do it right in the first place and some bands in other genre's have a ''the record'' and it seems vaporwave currently lacks it a bit. Mainstream world only needs singles.

Oh, I see what you mean. Well, aside from Macintosh plus' famous Floral shoppe I dont think there are many 'it' songs in this genre. Although, I do think there are some artists that are the pillars of vaporwave community.

I suggest you take a look at this channel, if you havent already: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCH4dD2 ... IG3avq5Sjw

It has some good content related to vaporwave that I found very interesting.
