RoentgenDevice wrote:That sounds like a cool idea, but if you imagine how it would look like, it's not so suspenseful, I think. You just see a guy who makes a fried egg on his camp stove. Then, he starts his morning walk. After that, a stone falls down or something, and he gets his blueish Karma extensions :| Would there even be a possibility to introduce Puzzles? Apart from "search egg, search Butter, combinate with frypan and campstove", I mean ;)
If it's in the submachine then the environment probably wouldn't be a park, it would probably be more along the lines of Layer 3 in Sub8.

I think a prequel would be interesting, as would be playing as Murtaugh in a game (and perhaps creating karma portals? i'd love to see that mechanic implemented in the game, perhaps in special "marked" points you have to create a karma portal to advance through). but the setting i'm not so sure, i have the same concerns as RoentgenDevice, i'm not sure if it would fit within the usual Submachine style.

Yes, that's what I wanted to say with my slightly cynic comment. The whole Puzzle- and total- loneliness- thing started with Murtaughs Karma/ waterfall- incident, didn't it? The prequel would probably have to show people.
But now that I think of it... would that really be a big problem? I mean, Mr. Skutnik already made games with people (Covert front and Fog fall), and they work very well and still have a mysterious vibe.

Sounds cool, however a bit Portal- like ;)

A prequel would be nice.
But...don't we already have one?
Submachine 0?

that isn't a prequel, despite the name. Mateusz said it was a tribute to Cube Zero.
