The SubCraft Project

Post by Ancient Crystal »

Most of you probably know what this is by now, but still.

The Subcraft Project is essentially just me converting the games into Minecraft maps. I've currently made two full subcraft maps, "The Basement" and "The Lighthouse".
I've mirrored the games to whatever extent has been possible at the times they were made, but anyone who's played minecraft knows how limiting it can sometimes be. The Basement was made in beta 1.7. Unfortunately, the arrangement of the rooms got rather messed up. I'll fix it sometime, but it would require extensive rewiring. I released The Lighthouse at new years eve 2011, a few months after the official release of Minecraft. It was made along with a required texture pack to improve the extent to which I could manipulate the game.
I'm currently upgrading The Lighthouse with command blocks, notes, and some better recreations and textures. After that, I might do something similar to The Basement, or continue with the next map.
I'm unsure wether there will be a The Loop, or if I'll just skip to The Lab. I have to compromise a lot with the game to get the maps made, so I welcome any suggestions on any future or realeased map, as long as they don't requre more than a texture pack and free manipulation of the map to go through with.

The rules are obvious. No block breaking. Blocks given to you by other means may be placed, but not reused.

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss, if the old boss had been an octahedron, which they weren't.
