Oh, so we are really having notes revealing the nature of the Subnet for solving puzzles?

Fantastic!

Hey, maybe one of you guys can help me. So I finally decided to download and play Sub Universe ... and it didn't work.
I'm using Mac OS Sierra and I first tried opening the .app file, which my Mac decided to not let me open due to new very strict Gatekeeper settings (troubleshooting, changing the security settings, or right klicking didn't work).
I then tried the .swf file, and downloaded iSwiff to run it - black game screen. I didn't tamper with the files at all and left them the way they unpacked themselves, just as Mat said.
Finally, I tried using the terminal to disable Gatekeeper, which, again, didn't work.

So....any other suggestions as to what I could try?

EDIT// Nevermind, scrolled through comments on Mat's website and he suggested to open the .swf file in browser when someone was having the same problems. Solved.
Conclusion: Sierra sucks.

As a fellow Sierra user -- yes, it does :D

You can download the Adobe Flash Player and use that to open the SWF file, too.

Try dragging the SWF file (from Finder) onto the Flash Player app icon (either in Finder, or in the Dock).

You could also try directly opening the SWF with Flash Player. Just open Flash Player.app from Finder and select "Open File..." from the File menu.

You can make all this more convenient by making all SWFs open in Flash Player; see this.

well, that's just the thing...for some reason there is no flash player app on my computer??? I mean, I clearly have it installed, and I can find the installation manager, but not flash player itself.

Um.

Yes.

I.. don't know how to solve that :(

To make things worse, the internet doesn't seem to know, either? There's no posts about the Flash app not appearing, but it's an issue I've had before. And I don't know how I solved it.. Sorry :?

One person said it appeared in their Utilities folder, though. Try checking /Applications/Utilities, maybe?
