Good map. But I see a problem: in Sub5 you go from the lab to the root, without passing through the edge. How do you explain that, being that Murtaugh needed us to disable the edge before going into the core?

First, we go to the Root thanks to the portal.
Second, its something old, Subnet even cannot be maped.

EDIT: One thing bothers me: Is the Basement in the top, or the bottom of the Subnet?

I think that its at the bottom like in the image, but its also posible that the Basement connects the underground part of the Subnet and the surface.

Then why does Mur need to disable the edge? couldn't he just use the portal? :P

But it can, at least in part:

Well, I also think it's underground (because of the name), but I doubt something like top or bottom can even be defined for the entire Subnet (look at 411 or the loops).

Edge cares to much the core, even more than any other Submachine.

Then wouldn't it be simpler to assume it only protects the core? what makes you say it also holds the ancient section, for example?

This map was created before Sub 6 came out.

Because they confused what it meant by "The Edge."

If the Submachine can't even be map, why does The Plan Exist?

Yes, that would make more sense, and the outer rim is everything else.
But then, the core, like other places, is disintegrating too.
Is this my final form?
